Under Graduate Programme

Humanities has been taught at PDPM IIITDMJ to the Engineering students right from its inception in 2006. Credits for Humanities were increased in 2011 to 12 and then in 2016 with the adoption of a new curriculum it got a boost from 12 to 20 credits. Depending upon the choice of the students, Humanities courses, mainly, English Language and Literature, Culture for Science and Technology have been always very popular among the Engineering and Design students, who registered for them enthusiastically. Students get benefit in placements by doing courses on Communication skills, Human Values, and Soft Skills, and are an edge over in the career graph and growth.
